Default Getting started

Hi,

I picked up the book and am reading through it. I'm going to start in earnest next Monday, but I'm using this week to prepare myself.

I went to the gym yesterday and went through the motions of the lower body workout, just to make sure I know how to do everything. I did all the reps at about a 5 or 6 intensity. Guess what, my legs hurt today. I guess I've been a couch potato for way too long. On Wednesday and Friday, I'll do the same thing

This morning I did two cycles of the aerobics workout. Thursday I'll do the same thing. Saturday I'll do three cycles.

I want to stay on Atkins while doing this, so I think I'll limit my self to 5 grams of carbs per each of the six meals. I doubt I'll buy the Author's shake product that he talks about in the book. I'm guessing it probably pretty expensive and I have some protein powder that only has two grams of carbs per serving, so I'll use that instead. And I like to eat as much real food as possible anyways.

Do you think modifying the nutrition plan this much will have detrimental effects? Any comments are welcome.
