Question Newbie With A Stupid Question

Ive been reading around the forums but havent posted enough to privately talk to anyone.....what does TOM and DH mean. I ve seen these abbreviations several times?

Hi and welcome.

Tom = time of the month

dh = dear husband

ds= dear son
dd= dear daughter

pita = pain in the a$$

hth= hope this helps

Feel free to ask if you have any more. It took me a while to get all the abbrevaitions also.
