Question Carbs in Almond Flour

Hello,
Can anyone tell me how many carbs in say 1 cup of almond flour?
I've looked in several places- I can find places to buy it but I can't find the count anywhere.
Thanks,
Rosemary

Almond flour is just ground almonds. The carb count on my program says 18.7 grams of carbs/cup.

I make my own with my little food processor, so I just go by the weight in grams to figure out the nutritional information. Depending on how finely ground the stuff is, and how tightly you pack it, the amount that fits into one cup could vary. Fortunately, the info Wanda posted includes the weight, so that's what I'd use.

Wanda,
Does that carb count include fiber or is fiber subtracted? I'm asking because I know almonds are pretty hefty on the fiber count and that count seems a little high to me (although vital wheat gluten is much higher, at 6 carbs net per 1/4 cup...)

Hi Tam:

My program shows it at 11.2 grams of fiber (7.5 grams net).

Wanda
