I just received my package of dark chocolate Pure De-Lite bars from vitaglo.com (US$29.52 for twenty-four 38g bars – free shipping) to compare (even though I’m looking at dark vs. milk) with the milk chocolate Atkins Endulge bars (Vitamin Shoppe, US$15.65 for fifteen 30g bars) that I have been consuming since I started LCing in July 2002. I prefer the dark chocolate, and I know my toddler will not be clamoring for any since she’s used to the taste of milk chocolate. The Pure De-Lite bars “look” much smaller, but I was surprised, upon closer inspection, that they are actually 8g heavier than the Endulge bars and since the taste and cost is comparable, I’m going with Pure De-Lite from now on.

Both have sugar alcohols that stall lots of people with weightloss (me included).

Just beware and if you stop losing weight.... make those bars the first to go.

Thanks Lisa. I've been fortunate with the chocolate bars, I have one a day, not everyday though. It's just a nice treat for me after dinner (as long as it's not too late in the day). Although I cannot say the same for the Atkins Advantage bars. I bought a box, haven't bought anymore.

Wow I am jealous. My personal favorites are the pure de lite dark chocolate bars, the carbolite peanut butter cup (frozen) and Ashers SF pecan patties.

I guess they are for TOM and maintenance only though for me....

I loooooove Pure-Delite choc mint ones. Unfortunately, they do stall me also!!!
