My scales moved in the first week but part of that was water. My clothes started getting looser about the same time and I don't care WHAT that was. I was getting smaller. I hope the same will happen for you.

And don't get hung up on what the scale says. Looser clothes or changes in a tape measure are the best way to gauge how you are doing. So go and measure every body part you can reach and keep track of how they change.

Hope things go well for you.

Default 1st weigh-in

I did my first weigh-in after 2 weeks. I had lost 6 pounds. Within a month, I was noticing my clothes were fitting better (they were WAY too tight before!).

Soon after that, had to start wearing belts to keep my skirts up - then sewed elastics into the waistbands. By my 4th month, I was buying new clothes (mostly at consignment shops) because I was tired of wearing sizes 18 & 16 when I was fitting into size 10's!

Keep low-carbing & you'll notice a change soon enough. It's the way clothes fit, not just the scale, that really count. You'll hear that over & over on the forum & it is SO true!
