Hi - I've been trying to find some information online but haven't yet, so here are my guesses.

I am not SURE what's in one of these creations but:

-the whipped cream probably has sugar in it already

-mocha usually is coffee plus chocolate of some sort. Do you think they'd use an unsweetened chocolate syrup? I don't.

- coffee has about 1 carb per 8 ounces. How big is a grande?

- isn't there usually milk in these things? More sugars.

In short, my guess is that Yes, you should really consider not having them while you try to keep to low carbs. I have read that it is possible to spend HALF your daily carb allowance in the sugars in some Starbucks products. And that is not how to be successful at low carbing or Atkins. And the calories! Ay yai yai!

I think you'll have to carefully consider whether you'd rather have them or lose some pounds. Sorry about that.

I found something on the net that said that they are 20 oz and about 500 calories, 38, yes 38 grams of sugar... I guess they go bye bye! Thanks!

Sad but true....the mochas gotta go. I generally order a coffee with sugar free syrup and cream ( some places DO have sugar free syrups). Not quite the same but still good!
