Talking A flatter tummy on Atkins

I'm thinking Atkins makes my tummy flatter than other diets I've tried. Must have to do with the carbs. I've always dealt with IBS issues, and the constant bloat and tummy aches. I've started to add extra fiber into my diet (by metamucil) starting with only 1 t. a day. IBS can make you very very sensitive to fiber.

Even thin I would have a funky buldgey belly. Maybe this time I won't.

You may even find that the IBS is less bothersome. LCing affects some people that way. It certainly lessens gas production (both directions) and indigestion.

I hope flatter is true for you. (Mine will only get flatter when the fat goes. Which it is.

I know I rarely have tummy troubles since starting lc. Mylanta tablets were a standard in my medicine cabinet. I tossed them a while ago!

I've noticed a real remarkable change in my belly area in just 12 days on induction. Maybe it's water loss, but I'm thrilled!

It could help your IBS in one way that meat processes slower but on the other hand if you're like me...high fat (ie bacon...etc) can make you sick. So it's a coin toss I guess.
