Default Success on Stillmans--should I stop?

Thanks to that wonderful post on Stillmans, I decided to try it for a week to see if I could drop the 7-8 pounds that keep creeping back to find me after I hit my goal weight. Today is my fourth day, and I've lost 5 pounds (yes, I know it's probably water, but it sure is motivating!). I'm actually doing a modified Stillmans; I'm using 2 oz. a day of half and half in my 2 cups of coffee, but no veggies or fruit, so I'm averaging around 12 carbs a day. Giving up cheese was the hardest--I hate the cheeses that Stillman allows, but I used to eat a lot of Muenster.

Should I keep going? I'm 2 lbs away from my original goal weight, and I was planning on doing this through Thursday, but is it healthy? I'm REALLY bored with meat and eggs, although I'm not craving anything. I also tend toward constipation; although I feel fine in that area at the moment, I haven't "gone" in a few days, either.

Smile my opinion

I dont think Stillman's is "unhealthy",per say, but it is very restrictive for long term maintenance.

If I were you, I'd add back some healthy carbs slowly (5 grams a week), and stop when you reach whatever level you start gaining at.

Good luck,

Michelle
