Default Current Body for Lifers status report

How are we all doing? Calling all current BFL people. Check in and give us a status report! I need the encouragement to hear how the rest of you are faring!

I'll start: C1/W2/D5 No weight loss, in fact I've gained 7 pounds or so. But my fat calipers measured 36.9 when I started and now they are measureing 32.8. I love the way this makes me feel. Every day I feel a little thinner.

You'd be on C1W1D5 (day 5)

I am not doing BFL but I have found using that counting method to be helpful.. lets me know when I need to take a week off.

For us noobs I am assuming that the following holds fast:

C=challenge?
W=Week

C1/W2/D6

Down 6 pounds...........(OK, mostly water since I was bloated when I started.) Substantial increase in strength, going much heavier on everything. My leg press has increased from 280 x 12 up to 292 x 8. I'll shoot for 10 reps at this weight next leg day.

I haven't done my body fat since I started 2 weeks ago, but I am noticing muscle definition where before there was none!

Brenda

Default Hello everyone!

I am currently C1/W6/D5. I have not lost any weight and started the week with an 8lb weight gain.(TOM) I was not impressed BUT my caliper waist measurement is down and the mesuring tape shows a one inch lose around the ponch. My clothes are looser and I feel stronger. I found a new helper CLA. Lets hope I found it in time to drop some of this weight and reveal my washboard tummy! I know it is there somewhere!!!

Dew, that is what is important! At the end of the day no one will know what you weigh, unless you tell them. Your smaller waist, hips, butt etc, will all be visible though

CLA takes about 6 weeks to do it's job - there is some information on it in the Nut/Supplements forum if you're interested.

Keep up the great work!
Nat

Smile Thank you Nat!

Hello Nat it is nice to meet you
Oh,Oh my CLA does not say Tonalin TM! My husband picked it up for me and price is always a factor, so with that in mind I may not have the secret weapon I thought I had
" It had more capsules for my money." does not always mean you get a deal!!! He tried.

Post Status Report

Hi!

I'm at C2/W2/D7

As with Challenge 1, I will weigh, measure, and do my quantitative analysis once every 2 weeks, on my beloved Free Day (Sunday). Today is that day...

I feel AWESOME! As in C1, the workouts give me a boatload of energy. I am SUPER psyched to see what changes and challenges C2 will bring!

Here are my 2-week stats ( End of C1 / current ):

Chest - 44" / 44"
Upper Arms - 15.75" / 15.5"
Hips - 44" / 43.75"
Waist - 34" / 34.5"
Thighs - 28" / 28.5"
Calves - 18.5" / 18.25"
Weight - 192lb / 190lb
Body Fat - 41% / 41%

Good luck to all!

Trilbe

Feeling great. Two people commented on how toned my legs are. I've lost 1.5lbs.

chest -1 3/4"
waist -1"
hips -3/8"

Last week I wore sleeveless blouses all week and I was self-conscious wearing short sleeves before.

Does anyone else see a trend that their shrinking from the top down?

Brenda I was really impressed with your leg press, thats almost twice your weight!

I weigh every AM but only measure at the beginning and end of each challenge.

And yes, for some of us we tend to shrink from the top down. The first place that weight loss was noticable for me was my face. I am very lean and muscular in my upper body now and my legs look quite toned although they need some more work. But the last place for the shrinking to happen is right on my abdomen underneath all the loose skin that got stretched out when I had babies
