Default My introduction

Hi I'm new here. I just started following the Atkins plan this past Sunday. I picked up some Keto sticks and they are already showing a light pink so I'm pretty happy about that.

Last year I was able to lose 70 lbs. on a plan of my own. However, in the past six months I have since gained back 24 of those pounds. I've been reading a lot about low carb eating and it makes sense so I thought I'd give it a whirl.

Hi Debby and Welcome to the sight.

Good on you for coming back to the LC way of eating.

This is a great place for advice and support...although if you have once lost 70lbs doing LC I'm sure you'll be able to provide heaps of advice to others

Lesley

Hey Debby, welcome to the forum.

Those ketostix were a boon to me when I first started Atkins. They helped me see that I really was on the right track and that changes were happening in my body.

A word of caution though: sometimes you can be in ketosis and it doesn't show up on the sticks at all.

There is a wealth of information about the ketostix if you want to check it out. It's at the top orange bar when you first sign on to the forum.

Happy reading!
