Default Confused - Where do you find Heavy Cream

Ok, I'm confused. I keep trying to find "heavy cream" instead of light whipped cream. Either none of my grocery stores carry it or its not labeled Heavy Cream.

Is it Half & Half?
Is it Creamora or Coffee Cream?
What kind of package does it come it?
Is it in the freezer section?
Is it labeled Heavy Whipped Cream?
Where is it?

????????
Thanks and happy Low Carbing!

Hello, you poor thing! Heavy Whipping Cream is in the dairy section, it should be right next to the half & half in the same kind of carton. Usually it's the same brand as milk, like land o'lakes or borden. I hope that answers your questions. Good luck!

You can also buy heavy cream in a can. Carnation is the brand and you can usually find it in the same aisle as the coffee/tea section.

It is not cheap but I usually buy mine at the Real Canadian Wholesale club and quite a few cans at a time to get the discount price. I am totally hooked.

Then there is Devonshire cream which is very thick and comes in a jar but is ultra expensive. I buy it as a treat for myself once in a while.

Hope that helps.

Just checked and I realized you live in the states so the RCWC will be no good to you. However, I am sure you will probably we able to find the cans of Carnation heavy cream.

Default Thank you

Hi, thanks all. I'll try again and see if I can find it. There so much "low fat" stuff in the grocery stores that sometimes I think the stores are switching everything over to low fat. Low Fat is probably the best sellers.

Happy low carbing.

Heavy Cream...AKA...Real whipping cream, in the dairy section, usually right beside the half and half...(but I think someone already mentioned that)
