Default Not Enough Exercise?

I started working on my weight loss journey in February 2002 and in March began exercising. We bought a Lifecycle Elipitical Runner. I could barely do 2 minutes!

I've been on Atkins since June 2002 and have lost 22 pounds and exercise 6 days a week. Every day I use the elipitcal runner and every other day I use some hand weights and my husbands Total Gym for arms and legs, about 20 minutes. On those days I use the runner for 20 minutes.

We recently bought one of those electronic scales that will do bf, I know they aren't accurate, but I've read a lot that says one thing you can use them for is to see change in bf. The change for me has finally shown 1% loss in 4 weeks, but no change in weight.

I consistently eat between 2200 and 2300 cals/day and have not cheated. The last four weeks I have shown no change in body weight, my legs, rear, face and wrists have slimmed. How long until the scale moves? Should I increase my exercise or change what I do?

I'm not discouraged (yet) as I haven't felt so good in years and I do see my body changing a bit.

Hi, Jill. I am a little confused. You're losing BF and slimming down - what does it matter if the scale doesn't move? You are losing body fat and gaining some muscle. You're smaller than you were 4 weeks ago - this is posivite progress.

Eventually the numbers will catch up - but in the grand scheme of things is that really important? When you reach your goal no one is going to know how much you weigh - but they sure as heck will see how lean you are.
