Question Keto Sweet

I'm hoping someone can help me with this. 'Keto Sweet' is a zero carb sugar free sweetner. The ingredients are: glycine, acesulfame potassium and natural flavor.

My question is can something like this sweetner stall your weight loss? Once in awhile I like to have cream cheese(heated) and then mix maybe a half tsp. of the Keto Sweet in it. Tastes like cheese cake! Anyway, when your testing if something stalls your weight do you eat it everyday for a week or just once a week and then check your weight. I'm a little confused Any advice would be welcome! Thanks

Hi there Want,

I think what you're asking is a very individual thing. As far as I know, there are no hard and fast rules.

Why don't you just continue enjoying your treat "once in a while" and see what happens? I must say it sounds pretty good to me.

Have a look at "The truth about Low carb Sweeteners Info" to the right of your screen, maybe the info there will help you.

Just remember, we are all different. Just because you read on this board (or elsewhere) that a certain product slows someone else down, doesn't mean it will affect you that way.

All the best to you, Want2BThin!

Some manufacturers claim that glycerine is inert and the body does not see it as sugar. So insulin levels do not rise. But many people find that low carb bars with uncounted glycerine carbs stall their loss.

Some people react to acesulfame potassium (Aspartame, NutraSweet) can have stalling effects. But not everybody.

If you're testing a food, go without it for a week and track your weight every morning before breakfast. Then eat it once and see what happens in the next 2 days each morning.
