Unhappy Been sick, now I'm back...

Hi everyone! I haven't been around the forum since Friday. I was away for the weekend and the night I got back I got violently ill!

That was Monday night and I am finally feeling half normal today! I wasn't able to look at or even smell meat for the first couple of days, so I ate brown rice and sugar free jello, and drank a lot of water and a concoction in the Bernstein book for occasions like this for diabetics.

I weighed myself this morning and I haven't gained or lost anything. I am considering going back on induction since I did eat the rice. What do you all think of this?

I'm just glad to be out of bed and feeling more normal. See you all around the forum!

Default Hello!

Glad you are feeling better!! I had pneaumonia for 2 weeks, and eat meat???? No way! Like you, I didn't gain or loose. I would say just keep going on from this point, but a moderator might give you some input whether to go through Induction again. To kick start maybe? I am the last one to advise on that as my loss has been in inches and not pounds for toooo long!!! but glad you are on the rebound! Happy LC'ing!!

Hi imready,
You poor thing! I'm so glad you're feeling better. I'm not on Atkins, but I've read around the forum plenty. I don't think you need to go back on induction every time there's a deviance from the plan. You were sick. You knew what you could handle and you did fine. Just get back to how you were eating before as best you can and remember to drink your water. You'll do fine. Remember, it's not a diet...but a way of life. Victoria
