Oh no..you poor thing! What a dreadful thing to happen! I don't mean this to sound trite, I seriously don't - but what helps me is I tell myself when things like this happen - which they do to me ALL the time..lol..."This too will pass" and really, truly, everything does pass in time! Oh I don't suppose that is much comfort now for you but I do mean well. It's helped me through a lot - an awful lot!
Well, take care and feel better soon - really sorry to hear your bad news and truly I can understand your frustration.

ow! I'm so sorry to hear this--injuries like this not only hurt, they are SO frustrating!

Try to break the habit of treating emotions with sweets--it's a chemically reasonable form of self-medication in the short term....but as you know, it's what got most of us fat, too! And in the long term, all it does is mess up our biochemistry even worse. Instead, find other ways to indulge--hot baths or long showers, reading your favorite sort of book or renting an old favorite movie, get that BF to massage your feet, or whatever makes you feel pampered.

Good luck at the doctor. I hope you mend soon.

Hi Seds, I know how you feel, wanting to fix the pain with cookies, I with you on that. However I am finding out that cookies are just a temporary fix for me I would also have to add some ice cream , chocolate syrup. Okay, okay enough of that . Truthfully, we all go through times just like you are and THIS TOO WILL PASS!!Be Strong. Good from one who has been there many times and will no doubt visit again. Joan

Wink feeling better and made it through with no cookies :)

Well the dr says rest and anit inflammies for 48 hrs. no real explanation for how it happened, she isn't too concerned unless it reoccurs, so that's good. she was totally encouraging about Atkins and continuing working out in a few days, yea!!
Thanks for all the messages, it was great to wake up and hear all the support.
I know i can do this-and I want to
Talk to you all soon
Seds
