Post Sugar cravings...

I'm no doctor, and I also didn't have many sugar cravings myself, but my sister who started this WOE had those cravings and for her they lasted most of the 2 week induction period before tapering off.

Be strong...they will subside. It's withdrawal, plain and simple.

Good luck!

Donald

Chris,

I know what you mean by the sugar addiction, before I started this WOL I ate cookies, candies and all kinds of bad stuff, and I realized that I had a carbohydrate addiction. The first 2 weeks were very hard for me, I still craved sweets especially because I couldn't have them, even though I was "supposed" to not have these cravings. After the induction, these cravings tapered off and I was able to live without sweet and not crave them *near* as much as I did before. Also- there's ALL kinds of low carb sweets that can be had. There's low carb peanut butter cups, chocolate bars, truffles, etc and they are REALLY good! Check and see if you can find a low carb store nearby, or you can order them online, trust me it helps IMMENSELY!

Hang in there, you can do it

Brianna
