Wink Need vat of chocolate!!!

SOMEBODY -- please give me some chocolate!!! LOL

I have such terrible cravings yesterday and today. I almost gave in yesterday - I was running around the store trying to find some good soup for Arielle who is home ill -- and the candies were so tempting.......just the smell.

Today - no better. I WANT CHOCOLATE NOW. RICH, CREAMY, MELT IN YOUR MOUTH, GOOTA HAVE IT NOW CHOCOLATE!!!

So, tell me - what does a mild manner person do?

I'm not gonna tell you what I'd do I would destroy your diet.

Actually, I will. I get those chocolate cravings, especially around my TOM. And I buy *gasp* a very small chocolate bar, like Hershey's Dove bar. Then, I'll freeze it, and take one small square off of it. I take teeny little bites and let them melt on my tongue, rather than chewing. It seems to work better that way, and with only the one small bar, I can't go too overboard.
I feel that if I don't do this, I'm just setting myself up for a rebellious binge.

Default One vat coming up

When I was a student... more years ago than I will say....I had a summer job working for Nestle.

My job was to move vats of molten chocolate from the hot room called a "conch" room to the enrobing line which put the outsides on the insides of chocolates (if you know what I mean)

These vats were about the size of a compact a bit like a dumpster on wheels. Once I had replenished the line by pumping the molten chocolate from the vat to lines own tank. I would watch the chocolates become coated, enter the drying shed and emerge succulent and juicy.

Sounds like heaven doesn't it. Not on your life. The smell
of molten chocolate is diabolical, and allpervasive. It would get into the pores of your skin. No matter how much scrubbing and showering you did nothing would get rid of it.
My social life was severely curtailed.

Workers were allowed to eat as much as they wanted of the product. The novelty did not get past day one.

I still like chocolate but the experience cured me of craving.
Even now if a recipe calls for melting chocolate I generally have to leave the kitchen.

O.K. you got it! Just give me a some time, and the recipe should be posted no later than tonight. I finally finished my experimentation for the ultimate, rich, creamy, melt in your mouth chocolate bars! No glycerine, maltitol or any hidden carbs, and around 3 grams per bar!
