Default Fitday-does it figure out net carbs?

Hi-
I am new at using fitday and had a question about putting in carbs. I had keto ice cream last night. I know it's 3 net carbs but while putting it in fit day it's like 16 something-so should I put in net carbs or go with what's on the container? Thanks

No, fitday doesn't figure out the net carbs, have to do that ourselves

Smile fitday and net carbs

Fitday will have total carbs on the nutritional breakdown on the right side of the screen next to your daily foods.

Above the listing of foods where it has the totals for the day of nutritional
intake it splits out total carbs and fiber carbs. To get net carbs you would subtract the fiber from the total. However , it does not split out sugar alcohols. You would have to make this notation yourself.

Whenever I list something new, I just list it as the carbs minus the fiber. For example, the slot says "Carbs ____" If my package says "Carbs 12, Fiber 2" I just list it as "Carbs 10." That way you don't have to continually subtract the fiber. This only works with items you list individually, not with ones that are already contained in Fitday.
