do u burn calories sitting in a sauna? or I dont know whats going on, and if so, can anyone tell me like temp set/time to burn a certain amount of calories, im looking for like burning 500 in a suana.

nope, you do not. Unless of course you start doing something like jumping jacks <grin> Any weight loss after sitting in a sauna would be water loss and only temporary.

May I assume you got the idea from pro boxers, wrestlers? Yes, they do use sauna for TEMPORARY WATER weight loss. They are gaining back all the lost lbs in 24 hours:-)

While sauna, alternating with cool/cold shower could make miracle for your skin, and have nice effect for your cardio health - but it has nothing to do with FAT LOSS.

Be aware that you can experience exactly the opposite effect. If you attempt to keep down your weight by not drinking enough water after a sauna session, your body would retain MORE water, causing weight GAIN the following days:-)
