Default Vacation cruise without carbing out?

I have been following the Atkins diet since Sept. 2002. I am close to my goal weight (started at 196, am now at 169), but have not lost for a while. I guess you'd say I'm in "life maintenance"

I've been afraid of taking a cruise vacation. Does anyone have advice/suggestions for cruises that might be more low-carb friendly?

Thanks
Jerry

Cruises are great. I took a cruise over the holidays, and it was pretty easy to stay LC. You can order anything you want for breakfast, do buffets for lunch and while there is a menu for dinner you can tell your waiter about your special needs and they are happy to help. I never went to the midnight buffet, and avoided all the dessert tables. I had a great time. My brother was with us and was on Atkins, and loved all the bacon, sausage, smoked salmon, steaks, fish, lobster and salads. He lost weight on the cruise, too.
Have fun!
Eno

It is a great way to vacation low-carb because cruises fuss about the food, always ready to accommodate you, and if you can get away with only a bite or two of the desserts, I think it would be a fantastic time.
