Well you might try looking real close to the foods you eat. Hidden sugars are everywhere. They are in some brands of even plain peanuts. For example: i bout some plain roasted peanuts at walgreens with no sugar in the making of them. However i was at a normal store this morning and i wanted to get some more of those dry peantus, but i read the label and they added dry corn syrup in one brand and plain sugar in another. So im going back to walgreens to get my peanuts with no sugar, just peanuts. The smallest amount of any sugar may set off your sweettooth. Cut out even artificial sugars for a week and see how you do.

I really think that whether a person continues to have a sweet treat now and then is a personal choice. I know some do and some don't. I like the occasional nummy sweet thing (LC of course), so that's something I'll never cut out. The thing is, one wants to learn how not to eat that kind of stuff all the time, which can be a real trick, LOL.

In answer to your question about cravings, try eating something very high in fat and see if that helps. It has usually helped us.
