Hi Guys....

I'm new to this site and am very excited to see all the support it provides. I need to lose over 100 pounds and can use all the support I can get. I hope I can also provide some encouragement to anyone that needs it.
I started LCing Jan 3, 2004 and have lost a total of 31 lbs. I know I have a long road to reach my goals.I've set small ones. June 5th My step daughter is getting married. I'd like to be down 50 by then. I'm going on Vacation with my hubby the first of August and would like to be down....70! and the biggest Goal for me is my 40th bday November 16th. I would like to hit the hundred mark.
I need to start walking also. I keep putting it off. I have another problem..... it's the SCALE! I can't keep off of it and it brings me down! haha I was thinking of starting a challenge... stay off the scale until Memorial weekend!? What do you guys think? Anyone want to join me?
Thanks for any replies...

Jen

There is a 100 day no-scale challenge on the challenges board -- check it out; I am sure they would be pleased to have you even though it has already started.

Hi there Jen,

Welcome to the Triple Digits Club!

Congrats on the great start you are well on the way to reaching all of your goals.

As for the scale, personally I find sticking to once a week to be a good compromise. It is letting me track my progress without stressing out too much about the daily fluxuations. I read over the 100 day challenge and think it is too much for me. Whatever route you choose I'm sure you'll do fine.

Keep Losing!

Welcome Jeni!

Congrats on your progress to date!

There's also a TDC Fitness Challenge that just started last week if you want a little support in getting out there walking. I'm a walker so I can certainly relate!

Can't wait to hear about more of your successes!

Rocky

Hello and Welcome Jen. Congrats on the great job you are doing. I understand about the scale too, I think 2 days is the most I've ever gone without checking it. Good luck and have fun!
