Nat, I saw them at Walmart. There were a few different brands. They even had frosting. I haven't tried them, just saw them.

Hey Gals!
It's been crazy around here, so it's been a while since I posted. I've decided recently to stop weighing, because the scale was making me crazy. I'm focusing on how things fit and my measurments. It's working well. I'm just trying to get myself feeling 100% again.

Besides that I had soem really cool happen last monday. I got a new to me car! It was used, but it's like new. My parents got a wonderful deal on it. I like it. It's so much fun to drive. This really shows the teenager in me, but it has a sun roof and I feel like it's the niftiest thing since sliced bread. lol I'm goofy, but it comes with the age. The funniest thing. My grandma didn't know about so my mom called her and said I had a surprise to show her. The first thing my grandma asked me was if I was engaged! oh my goodness. I'm only 18 and they're already trying to marry me off. My younger sisters are worse, but I think I scared htem enough to leave it alone for a while.

Keep up the good work everyone!
CindyLynn~

Thank you Michelle,
I will look tomarrow when I am out and about getting the girls thier bday gifts. Toni thinks she isn't getting anything for her bday cause she got a new computer for xmas, but can't let her go with nothing for her own special day. As for Evie, she is getting a gift certificate to Bed, Bath and Beyond. She wants new throw rugs for her kitchen area and the sliding glass door and it is best to give her the gift card and let her buy what she would like then guessing and having to have her take it back. Getting smart in my old age!

hugs
Nancy

ok folks.... I have a confession to make. Since my surgery I have gained 10 lbs.
That is 10lbs that I worked so hard to take off last year. I'm finding it so hard to restart and stick to the diet. I feel fat and disgusting. I don't know how to get back into the plan. I know I'm the only one that can do it for myself.

I even got a journal, but when no one replyed I felt stupid for starting it. I know I know... I seem like a cry baby..... just don't know what else to do .....
Help!!!

Cindy Lynn---I can just see you, ya little sweet potato, driving with the sunroof open. Watch heads turn, especially at stoplights! Do you drive it to school? Congratulations! You've got nice parents that are looking out for you! We are proud of you, too!

Zuleka, let me be the first to apologize. I just hardly get on the forum any more. This morning it's a treat to do so. I will visit your journal. Don't give up. Angie and the rest are all here for you. You can't give up because things happen. I have either gained or failed, not sure. I wrote in my journal how I"m eating so much of bad things when I"m tired.

Decided today to visit the forum and be accountable. So please know the extra 10# will come off. Just ask Maureen and the others: when we go through medical situations, it is hard to lose. But the real focus is eating healthy, knowing we're doing the right thing.

This has nothing at all to do with LCing except the name: Did you all see Johnny Depp is in the new Willy Wonka movie? Tim Burton is directing it. I think it is due out in a year or so. That should be about the same time as Star Wars!

Lise: Honey I am so happy you got away to Mexico. So happy your extra weight came off, but most of all that you had a great time. I love PVR! Did you parasail? Tell us where you went. May I ask, where did you stay?

Hugs to all, sorry if I excluded anyone.
Annie

Down 3 lbs since last Monday! So down 2 lbs since the beginning of the months challenge. What did I do differently?

1-only had one insulin injection a day.
2-doubled water to at least 128 oz a day.
3-added calories..from 1200-1500 goal range I changed it to 1500-1700.

This very morning at the dr: He says: "Dawn .. you need to celebrate.. we have VICTORY! NO MORE INSULIN FOR YOU YOUNG LADY!"

Woohooo...and lost 4 lbs since the last dr visit there. He said, Your public enemy #1 is insulin, and you beat it! He was also fine with the increase in cals, just cautioned me to keep an eye on it.

Other than the obvious rewards that I already am reaping.. I just realized I didnt set a reward for achieving this goal, any ideas?

We do have one more weigh in for the month correct?

Congrats Dawn !!!!
How about a facial, manicure and pedicure or a massage. I keep wanting to do those but I find I don't have time to schedule them in for now.
