Wink Water... one more time

I've been reading things about water and I was curious about somethings.
I've read that if you drink water after 8 or 9pm, you end up holding water, if so... how long? And is it true?
I've also read you can over do it with water and flush out your electrolytes... Is this true? When is it too much?

Just drink at least 64 oz. + 8 oz. for every 25 lbs. you want to lose and don't worry about it.

Until it wakes you up to go to the bathroom.

I find it VERY difficutl to drink enough fluids. So, here's what I'm wondering. I usually only drink about 24 oz. between 6 am and 6 pm. Then the rest of it, I force dwon in the evening. Is this as effective, or would it help weight-loss if it was spread out?

It would help weight loss if you drank more. There is no 'weigh' around it

The 64 oz is recommended as the minimum for your body to function. This is regardless of weight loss. Anything above that is what's going to help flush out those toxins... including that burned fat. Have you tried the old "one glass before a meal, and one glass after a meal" trick? That leaves you 2 glasses to get in. Honestly, it does get easier the more you drink. If it's a matter of drinking other fluids as well as water, then you have to make a choice. If you can give up carbs, diet sodas (or whatever else) shouldnt be that much of a sacrifice. Even phasing them out would be good. Of course it is something you must decide for yourself.

nat, your so right, as usual, about other fluids. i used to drink a 750ml bottle of diet pepsi a day and about 5 coffees. then i started ww and they said i had to have 8 glasses of water a day. i drank water instead of the pop and coffee. that was 10 years agos and water is just a natural part of my day!

Yep, our tastes for food arent the only things that change I think the key is dropping the other stuff for two weeks, like we do with the carbs. After that, going back to diet sodas and crystal light just doesnt seem as attractive.

Default Nat, You are so right!

I notice that! (Refering to tastes changes)
I notice for example I only need a half pack of sweetner in my coffee and I taste it! I made strawberries for my family for dessert one night and I used a packet of sweetner on them to, I thought, sweetnen them up abit.
Everyone asked me if I forgot the sugar while I was thinking that next time I should only sweeten the others strawberries and not my own (Too sweet)!
I notice I can taste spices more easily as well.

Cold water is my favorite low-carb beverage. But, Yikes! I'm rarely thirsty. Then I force myslef to keep swallowing it down, and get a "water-logged" feeling. Well, I will keep at it, if it's really true it gets eaiser with time.
