Hi everyone,
I started atkins 2 1/2 weeks ago and lost 10 pounds so far. seem to be at a stalemate this last few days. I exercise, and stick to 20 carbs daily. I just bought psyllium to help..heavens knows I need it at this point. I have reflux disease so I seem to react by bloating with everything I eat. I am not going to let myself get discouraged with the absence of weight loss lately. I keep visualizing me in the summer, looking and feeling great at my old weight. I am looking forward to the support offered here. It is a wonderful site.

Hi Laurie!!
Welcome to the board...This forum has been so helpful to me since beginning Atkins..You have come to the right place..
I too have a history of reflux..At one point it was pretty severe...Coincidentally, since I began low-carbing, the problem seems to have disappeared...I haven't even had mild heartburn, and well, its not like I'm not eating anything...It leads me to believe that carb intake had a lot to do with it, at least in my case..

Don't just check your weight............check those inches too! You might be pleasantly surprised.
