Default Carb Solutions Vs Atkins

Has anyone tried the Carb Solutions protein drink? It is half the price of Atkins here in WA and I do not see that much difference in the labels except CS has more protien for half the price. Why should I pay the higher price? Would love to have your thoughts.

Linda

The powder, IMO, is as good. Unfortunately, I don't much care for either kind! I usually have to "doctor" both kinds up to make them palatable.

Pre-Mixed cans, IMO Atkins wins there.

You may want to go to the "Low Carb Products" forum down the main page a bit, and run a search of those threads. You'll find hundreds of product opinions there.

This is the one we use the most. We get the vanilla and put anything in it. Torani English Toffee S/F syrup is really, really good. Carmel S/F syrup too. My DH likes peanut butter in his and I like to mix cold coffee and s/f chocolate syrup and ice for a mochachino type drink. Lots you can do with it, and good protein source.

Atkins Ready to Drink beats Carbs Solutions hands down.

Sams here has the 12 pack of Atkins for less than $20 -- a lot cheaper than the health food stores & grocery stores at $9.99 for a 4 pack.

I guess I am one of the few that actually prefer the carb solutions drinks. To me the Atkins drinks taste to heavy and oily. Not that I don't like fat, it's just that I'd rather not have the soybean oil taste stand out so much. Also the carb solutions drinks don't seem to be as sweet, which I like as well.
