Unhappy Just starting Out

I have been trying to start " Induction " for 3 weeks now. The trouble is, I can't stick to it....Oh I want to do this so bad, but the temptations are killing me. I am so weak. I start the day off good , but by the afternoon I am cheating like crap......Does it get any better..

I need to loose 125 pounds and am not off to a very good start. Any tips or tricks to help the cravings..

First tip... stop putting yourself down! You believe what you hear about yourself, and telling yourself over and over that you're a weak failure is a sure way to fail!!

I like to recommend Dr Phil's Ultimate Weight Solution to people struggling with staying on plan. Even though his food plan isn't low-carb, the OTHER info is a Godsend.

If you stick to induction and get past the first week, those cravings will get a LOT better, by the way.

You can do it.

How about before you start again, get rid of all the temptations, do a big shop so you have what you need, make sure you take lots of legal snacks to work with you.

Cheers kathy

Hi, I am new here but I have to comment I agree with both of these guys. 1st I watched the Dr. Phil's show today and I was amazed at how great those guys are doing on his diet - mainly b/c his book teaches you to find what causes your own personal food issues. 2nd snacks are the way to go! Every single time I thought I might be hungry I had a protein snack of some kind. Usually it was string cheese and a hotdog - just the hotdog no bun of course. For the 1st week I was eating pretty much nonstop but I managed to drop 7lbs anyways! I know you can do it
