Eating in Hawaii
I am headed to Hawaii in March, and aside from a drink with a little umbrella in it here and there I really want to stay on plan. It shouldn't be too hard most of the time as we will be eating in regular restaurants and I can order salad or a steak. What I am concerned about is the Luau we are planning on going to. I am really looking forward to the roast pig, however I don't know if there will be a sauce or something on it that will prevent me from eating it. If anyone has attended a luau in Hawaii, I would appreciate some pointers on if the pork will be "safe" for my plan, and also what sides and appetizers to avoid.
Thanks!
