Question Warm heart, Cold Hands?

OK.

I know I live in Iowa and all . . . but I have been cold, cold, cold since about the 4th day on Atkins (this is my 16th day). My hands, in particular, are freezing!

The thermostat is set on 72 degrees, and I'm still cold! Prior to starting this WOE, I had it constantly set around 65 degrees.

Anyone have any clue if this is Atkins-related? Any suggestions, other than mittens , for how to fix it?

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Sue
PS-I love that I've lost 15 pounds in 16 days!!! Whoo hoo!

hey Sue...I am from Nebraska so I know all about the cold! Yes it is diet related - have read other posts where this is a common complaint! I personally think it is due to all the water I drink! But maybe it's because we are pounds lighter and don't have all that fat to keep us warm!! You could get a sweatshirt I saw advertised where the sleeve cuffs pull down and turn into fingerless gloves!!
Spring is just around the corner!

Yes it must be diet related. Before I started this diet I was always hot, the gals at work were always cold and here I would be with a fan on. But since I started Atkins I have been cold. But for me honestly it is a relief. Being hot all the time was no fun. At least now I can put on something warmer and keep the fan off.

Add me to the list of cold-all-the-time after Atkins. The heat now gets set at 74, and I'm wearing a sweatshirt right now.
A quick way to warm up your hands is to go do dishes---I LOVE that warm water!
