Thumbs up great lunch idea for kids

just as a note, i dont deprive my kids of things kids like, but i sneak in low carb things when i can for healthy reasons. i have been lcing for quite awhile and knock on wood have not had the slightest sniffle even though so much crud is going around. anyway to my point, my little girl 9 loves subway but not the bread, so i bought her an lc wrap and she loved it. so i went to walmart bought a bag of the lc wraps and made her one for lunch much cheaper made at home, and all her friends want them now. she thought it was so cool she could have just like subway at school. tonight i made them meatloaf with pork rinds instead of breadcrumbs and nobody was the wiser. i have noticed if i dont say anything about being lowcarb they never notice. isnt that funny.

anyway those wraps are super for tricking children or even taking lunch to the office yourself. i got them at walmart in the tortilla section. super deal and great taste

My son loves peanut butter wraps now instead of samwiches. I'll use the LaTortilla plain kind and smear on peanut butter and cream cheese.

He's not LC'ing. I do try to cut back on his refined sugar and flour out of general health though.

I get Adams all natural peanut butter. I don't find it as greasy as smuckers, and the kids love it. He still gets jelly, but I go for the all fruit kind without sugars or artificial sweetners. The adams is also nice because I can find it easily in every grocery store. Unsweetened soy nut butter for meself is another story
