Unhappy Stalled in weight loss

[COLOR=Blue][FONT=Arial Black]Hi Everyone, What a great site this is. I am doing the Atkins now for 6 months. I have lost around 30 lbs but am totally stalled in the weight loss for the last month. Very discouraging. I keep my carbs to under 20 a day and still nothing. some days i even go up a few pounds. anyone else finding this?. Someone suggested i go back to my old eating habits and then start on Atkins again after a week. Has anyone heard of this?Apparantly it is to shock the body into losing again...i dunno though....it sounds like playing with fire to me! lol food-fire!! Well, i know i will enjoying the turkey and trimmings on Christmas day anyway so we'll see what happens there. This is my first posting so i wont take up any more space. Merry Christmas to you all and a Happy New Year.

Hi Reeny
In my travels on this forum, I've seen alot of people suggesting that 20gm of carbs can sometimes inhibit weight loss after a while. Alot of people have posted that after they increased their carb intake on owl, they started to lose again.
I, personally, would not do what was suggested to you. It is like playing with fire! You know yourself best, go with your instincts. Induction never works as well as the first time, so they say, so it might not even help. If you look around at different postings, you can see there are so many reasons why you could be stalling... what your eating, how much your eating, exercise, water... you name it. You may want to post some menus for the resident experts to look at, they are very knowledgable and very helpful on this forum.
Best to you,

Jenn
