Talking Hello!

Hi All!

I started this WOE about five days ago, but I have been reading the postings for about a week. I have read the new Atkins book and I have been following Induction without a hitch. No weight loss yet, not sure why... I am on the bc pill and have PCOS, which (and please give insight into this) may be why this is a slow start.

Thanks and I look forward to joining the discussions!

Welcome! I responded to your other post as well... I don't suffer from PCOS myself, but there is talk about it in the forum. I know that some people have had their symptoms disapear after finding this WOE and WOL. Did you take measurements when you started to compare to? If you are excercising regular you may be replacing fat with muscle....how are your clothes fitting? I would suggest taking measurments and/or pictures so that you have another way to document and reinforce your loss to yourself, rather than that nasty ole scale....lol

Default Exercise

Woolina, I would love to up my exercise, but I am taking care of a sick boyfriend. Not too mention that I'm in the middle of a winter storm that practically has me snowed in! Anyway, I will do some measurements and try to track it that way. I am not obsessed with weighing in frequently, but I'd love to see some movement on there, regardless!!

Another thing I wonder about is fat intake, I was scared of it at first (old lo-fat thinking crept in on me) when I upped my fat intake, things really started moving for me!
