I don't know why this is, or if anyone else finds this to be true, but I'm new to this WOE and I have been trying to keep my water intake way up.

For some reason, I find I can drink TONS of water while I am at work all day, over 2 litres before lunch even! But at home on the weekends, I'm feeling like I am stuffing myself overfull if I try to squeeze a 6 oz cup in every once in a while....I don't know why this is?

I also drink lots at the office....it's just so easy to go to the water cooler, and fill up my bottle. Somehow, I never drink from a bottle around the house, but at the office it seems okay....also my office is right next to the washroom....very handy...whereas on the weekend when I'm out and about....there's not always washrooms that handy, so I'm the same as OTENN.

Question water

I wonder if part of it is that most of yer hermetically sealed office buildings are so darn DRY?? Even at the hospital, the relative humidity is so low - especially in winter - many of us carried Secaris in our pockets, to keep the nostrils moist and prevent nosebleeds!!

I am the same way, I think it is because I get kind of bored at work, and I find myself reaching for the water bottle all the time. Sometimes I drink all my daily water, 3Liters, at my desk.

I drink tons more at the office too. I think it's because I'm pretty much tied to my desk and the water bottle is right there. And I agree with Doreen T about dry buildings. Ours is terrible. If you leave an orange or grapefruit on your desk around here, in a couple of days it's a fossilized stone!

I also drink WAY more at the office than at home, and I do think it's partly boredom. I am sitting here all day in front of the computer, nothing to do, so I go fill up my water bottle, drink it down, and go fill it up again. Gives me an excuse to get up and walk around a bit every once in a while

I also drink tons of water at work but home find it hard to drink as much...weekends are the worst...probably because I am always running around and sometimes water is not readilly available or I don't want to drink so much because the lack of a handy bathroom. At work I can easily guzzle 4 23 oz bottles (92 oz) during the work day.
