Default Offline Carb Counter Software

Can anyone tell me where I can download a good program that will help me keep track of the foods, carbs. etc. that I eat all day? I need something that I can use offline so I can add things as I eat them! Just starting out and a bit overwhelmed. I really want this to work so need to start out RIGHT!! Thanks!

Excel is perfect for this type of thing. Just create a spreadsheet of all the foods you eat along with the carb count, then have Excel keep a running total for the day. For the nutritional value, you could use a book or the USDA food database software.

Try www.calorieking.com

I've been using the handheld (PDA) software since April and it works great. The Windows software was just released afew weeks ago, I tried a free trial and it is good too except it can't link between PDA and Windows to syncronize.
I guess that is planned for and update in the Spring.
You can also upload your stats to the calorieking website which has many of the fitday features.
