Question Low Carb Wraps

I find this forum such a great area to exchange ideas and get feedback that I once again am asking for your help.

A few months ago I asked for some feedback on frozen LC meals that I was researching for a business class I was taking. Such as, are people looking for this kind of thing... (I do see there is one on the market already!) I have changed ideas a bit and want to see the kind of reception this product brings.

I am now looking to produce and market frozen, ready to eat wraps. To start they would be breakfast wraps with egg, meat (bacon, ham or sausage) and cheese enclosed in a soy or whole wheat wrap . Total carbs would be between 3-5 . In time I would like to move onto other kinds like pizza wraps, etc, (or any other you might suggest).

Would you leave any feedback you like on this idea. Any thoughts are GREATLY appreciated!!

Thanks,
Chris

Hey there Cainne, sorry I haven't e'd you lately, I'v e been busier than a 3-tailed dog!

Quick comment on your poll and question. I like the question but I hesitated over the poll because I wanted to answer "Would like and would occasionally consider this option" as I read "rarely" as just a hair above never....

Also, as an experienced LC cook and new-but-learning-lots product developer, I think you might have some trouble getting/making any kind of wrap of an edible size made of either soy or wholewheat that would be sufficiently low in carbs to have the WHOLE thing net to <6 g carbs after fiber. Egg 0.6g ea, regular bacon 0.5g ea strip, regular sausage min 0.5g ea...never mind tomatoes, onions, spices, etc.

I'd recommend a target of net 5-10g max per serving...

Good luck and keep working!
