Hi Rachael,

How about looking on our Dr Bernstein & Diabetes and/or PCOS forums? I've seen many people there mention that they are on metformin (aka Glucophage).

Cheers.

Jordy..if you haven't found out already, metformin makes your cells more sensitive to the insulin you make...thus lowering your insulin resistance. Type 'metformin' into your search engine and read up on it. Surely you didn't start on 1000mg right from day 1 ....!! Eve

yep I started on 1,000mg tablet once a day,,,, have had no problems with it,,,,no side effects or anything....... and it seems to have boosted my weight loss on too,,, maybe its mind over matter,,,but as long as the pounds are coming off then I am a happy chappy....
regards
Rachael
