Default Fitday Question

Hi. I am hoping someone can answer this for me.
Is there a way, on Fitday, to "save" my most-used choices, such as broccoli w/cheese, or a normal serving of a food, not necessarily what fitday defaults to?
It would sure save a LOT of time if I didn't have to constantly enter the weight/quantity of food every time I use Fitday.
Any help woul dbe appreciated!
Lesle

not that I'm aware of, it does save the food choices for a while until the "memory" is used then it tosses out some for other foods. It can be a chore, but I find it very helpful, and keeps me in check with what I'm eating.

You might try this:

Go to this site
http://www.nat.uiuc.edu/mainnat.html

In Step 2, add the foods you want (in whatever combinations and amounts consistent with your recipe), and then click Analyze Foods. A nutritional table will be generated for the total recipe.

Write the info down, and then go to FitDay and create a Custom Food item, entering the nutritional data you wrote down.

Now you only need to select the Custom Item every time you eat that particular dish instead of having to enter each item separately every day.

Hope this helps.

You could also go to a an earlier date at fitday where you have no other entries and enter the combination of foods and title it - I've done that with my own "quiche." The results are what you then put in as a custom food - quiche 1, quiche 2, etc - with all the details that you got from looking at fitday for that entry - go to the resports as well to see the breakdown of nutrients. It will then be saved as a custome food.
