Smile Back from my check up

Well Guys,
Went to my checkup today and guess what I lost 30 pounds so far since the last day of may. Im so happy I could cry and I just might lol. The Dr said my thyrid is big so he put me on pills synthriod to be exact and he said they will HELP me lose weight also. Anyone else on it? I just want to thank you guys for all your help. One question if I am eating lo carb bars and have not stalled yet does this mean I wont at all from them or will I have to keep checking? And is the same true with Splenda. I have been having some everyday in some form and so far everything is ok... Let me know and again THANKS!!!!
Ramona

I would recommend keeping an eye on the intake of splendina and low carb bars, they could stall you in the future! but you never know!

Ramona,

Great news!! As far as the carb bars go, I see people write that it is an individual thing. I also have no problem with those sorts of things as far as weight gain but they do set off a craving for me so I have to watch it. "To thine own self be true". And keep up the good work. Will be rootin for ya.

Congrats to you!
I take Synthroid and have for years. It keeps my thyroid in balance and I'm sure to have it checked every year. Keep on top of it, as it can change with weight loss or gain. I'm having mine checked again at the beginning of August.
Good for you on your 30 lbs! Inspiring!

Ramona,

You are doing great. it really is impossible to argue with the results you are seeing. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!!!

One guidline that I personally do try to stick by........ I try to avoid having too many carbs late in the night.

An old habit of mine has always been to have candy or desert at night after dinner. I have shifted that to having a cup of coffee with borden's 1/2 and 1/2, and a healthy dose of cinnamon(YUUUMMMMMMMM). I also use splenda in it.

All in all, my concoction contains about 7 carbs, which is not bad considering I basically have zero the rest of the day. However, I do like to remind myself not to have it at 10:00 at night, or at least without so much of the cream and splenda.

TC
