I don't really count potatoes as a veggie anymore. They are so high starch with so little nutrician, esp if you remove the skin :\

Not only that...Corn is not a veggie, it's a whole grain. If you think about it:

Whole Grains -- Popcorn, Corn Chips, and Doritos
Vegetables -- French Fries, Potato Chips, and Ketchup
Fruits -- Jelly, Jam, and Sugary Fruit Juice
Dairy -- Cream Filling and Cake Icing
Meat, Legumes -- Refried Beans

Would you consider that a healthy diet ??? No ??? Well, it complies with the food pyramid (not counting for fat, protein, carb percentages). Heck, put enough Sugar in it...and you can get it under 30% fat. As we all know, the LF Diet is crap. It doesn't work for most people...without severe (unmaintainable and in some cases, unsafe) caloric restrictions.

Some of the folks from the above link actually died from Low-Calorie/LF/HC Dieting. Might want to mention that Atkins has never been proven to have caused a single death...compared to god only knows how many caused by Low-Calorie/LF/HC dieting.

I love cats too. Our old male tomcat died just last year -- he was 18 years old. Right now we are waiting until our 2 german shepherds are a little older before we get more cats -- they think that cats are toys and the cats (who do NOT take kindly to being treated as a chew toy) usually end up pretty pissed off.
