Question Atkins Ice Cream?

I tried to do a search for this, but kept getting an error message; so I hope this isn't a duplicate post...

I've seen this stuff in the grocery store & advertised in magazines, but wonder if it's any good. I don't like the Atkins bars at all & have not tried the shakes. If you've tried the ice cream, please post your opinion!

Thanks!

Paty

Cool I have seen it and I am also curious...

I love ice cream! I saw it at a local grocery store ( Safeway). It looked so tempting, I would love to know if someone out there has tried it. If I break down and get some I will let you know. I think that it comes in both Chocolate and Vanilla.

Y'all missed the "Ice Cream, Retail & Readymade, All Brands" discussion stuck to the top of this Products forum for easy finding? There's lots of opinions about the Atkins ice cream in there, too.

Enjoy.

i have had the ice cream. It is good for a serious ice cream craving but it is a little waxy to me. It comes in a box of 4 single serving cups.

MAKE YOUR OWN!!! Atkins lists s recipe on their website, one of many recipes for ice cream...this one is for chocolate!

http://atkins.com/food/recipes/all/..._Ice_Cream.html

Looks real easy to make too!
Best wishes;

Yes!
The Atkins Ice Cream is delicious and I especially like the Vanilla. I usually like the Chocolate, but this time it is vanilla, hands down. I found it in Publix and Albertsons, I don't know about Winn Dixie.
You will find it in the area where they have the ice cream sandwiches and stuff, not in the cartons of ice cream. I think because they are packaged in servings and give you 4. It is a little expensive, but well worth it.

Enjoy!
Marg

It is good. Sometimes making your own is a hassle. This fills the bill nicely. It is a bit pricey though!

I found it at my TJ's today but held off from buying it as I am still on Induction. It looks yummy though!

I found the Atkins ice cream at VONS. I tried the chocolate and it was good for the moment. Then I went out and bought a ice cream maker. Jake is right, making your own is the way to go. The ice crem maker does all the work
