Default Appetite Loss?

I feel like I've gone from one extreme to the other. For years I've overeaten, binged, etc. Now I barely have an appetite at all. Dinner last night was a boneless, skinless chix breast and broccoli/cauliflower sauteed in butter. My calorie counts are way too low for last few days-I plugged things into fitday and for the last 3 days it runs between 800-1000. It was difficult to finish my dinner.

I'm wondering if this is something anyone else has gone through? Is it a temporary adjustment? Thinking I'm going to watch drinking my water right before mealtime to see if that may be part of it. Would be thankful for any input.

More fat can help you boost your calories. The chicken skin is a good source of fat and can be tasty. You can even dip in mayo.

You can also try eating several smaller meals a day.

Lack of appetite is a side effect of ketosis, you just need to make sure you don't skip meals (go no longer than 6 waking hours without eating) and make sure your calories don't go too low for too long.
