Question Hello, quick question

Hello. I have been on the Atkin's Induction program since 5/1/03. Nine pounds lighter and really motivated. I am taking a multi-vitamin, l-carnitine, essential oils, and CoQ10.

One question, the last few days I have been having some very watery stools no matter what I eat, meal bars, shakes, all meat, eggs, and veggies. I haven' t noticed this side effect mentioned anywhere in the literature I have researched about low-carb diets. Has anyone else had this side effect?

I started the diet the day after I finished taking Coumadin for a blood clot, my pcp is aware that I am doing this program and suggests I check my cholesterol level in a few months, but otherwise is supportive. Could this be a delayed reaction to getting off meds, and starting the new vitamins et al and dietary changes?

Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

Yep, it can be a side affect, either that or constipation.

The bars, shakes and sugar free candies can intensify it if you are senstive to sugar alcohols too.
