Default Does Shrimp have carbs?

i just ate like 2-3 cups of shrimp (I LOVE SEAFOOD) and the package says that it has 0 carbs. It was raw shrimp and i boiled it. Does it have carbs? Fitday says that it does.....about over 1 gram for 1 cup.

Not enough carbs to worry about if you eat a normal portion with some vegetables.
Anyway,
what are you doing cooking up all that shrimp and eating it all at once?
Thats not a meal kiddo thats called a binge ! You should check out the menu and recipes but wait...arent you 14?
Have you read the Atkins book? Its really long and boring etc. What do your parents think about you doing this? If your parents do not know - that would be pretty impossible to pull off-
They should be guiding your menu for you and telling you what you can eat. Not me !!!

I agree, aznlilly. You are already under a normal weight for a person 5'6" tall. About 130 would be better. If you don't like your shape, wait a while. You haven't yet done all your growing and your body will rearrange itself. Be careful that you don't slip over the edge from maintaining a healthy weight into the trap of anorexia and eating disorders. You are still growing and maturing and your body needs a balanced diet with vitamins, minerals and nutrients to be healthy. Exercising moderately will help shape your body.

I also wonder if your parents know about your eating. You are already at a normal weight for a person your height, especially an adolescent. Not eating sugar, starch, flour etc is good for anybody. But include vegetables and fruit. You should be following Atkins Maintenance level, not trying to lose more pounds.

I hope you will carefully consider what you are trying to achieve and ask your doctor to advise you about a good weight to maintain. Ignore the numbers on the scale & enjoy your youth.

Hugs.
