Hey everyone,
I just got in from school at 10pm, and was starving - so i cooked up some sausage and eggs. Then i wondered if it is ok to eat this late on this woe? I know that with low cal diets, they suggest that you don't eat past 6? Just curious. Thanks.

Hi!

I'm impressed - you are doing great!
We are not supposed to go hungry on this plan - eat as long as you eat legal foods.
Atkins says we should not go without food for more than 5 waking hours. You did just right.
Next time you can maybe take some protein/veggie sanck to school with you???
Take care!
Alina

I work late and commonly eat after 8 p.m. and everything seems fine. I think you will be okay.

I am horrible for eating at night. Doesn't seem to have bothered me. I wouldn't worry.

If you continue to eat late at night, just don't go to sleep right afterwards. Wait to go to sleep about two hours afterwards (at least that's what I heard).

That's exactly what I had for dinner around 8:30pm. I also have school and the earliest I can get dinner in is 8:30-9:00pm.

I've always had to eat late on this WOE due to my schedule and hasn't affected me as far as I can tell.

It is best not to eat a huge portion and fall right asleep though, just for practical reasons. That's common sense, although doing that once in awhile probably won't hurt ya all that much either. Eat when you're hungry!

Thanks guys! I thought i was doing really well until i weighed myself this morning - up 2lbs. I am not too concerned though. i have that weird feeling that my body is losing weight, or shrinking even though the scale doesn't say so. i think i should throw it out the window. Maybe it was those darn sausages at 10pm? lol... Have a great day everyone...

Hi faeriegirl,
I have had to eat every night at 9:00 and after no problem in fact I just broke a stall. The 2 pounds you saw may have been water weight gain. Sausage is salty and a water weight gain ready to happen if you didn't get a chance to drink enough water. Drink,Drink, Drink your water patsi
