Has anyone tried their sugar free chocolates? I've seen that they are making sugar free Easter candy. I was going to ask my mom to get me some. I know she'll want to buy me stuff, so this will please her that it's something I'll eat. Does anyone know the nutritional information? It's not listed on their website. Thanks!

I'm not sure of the exact nutritional information, but they do have a lot of Maltitol in them. I ate 4 pieces of their assorted chocolates a while back and while I can say they were delicious, I was very uncomfortable for several hours. Let the eater beware.

I used to have them on a regular basis. But I get bloated! And, they make me stall But they're really good

Don't know by heart the nutritional information. And anyway, they have a few kind of sugar free chocolats and they don't all have the same grams of Carbs...

I unfortunately have some of these right now. Major maltitol attack! Buyer beware!

I can only be sure of the PB cups (since that's what I have in front of me) If you believe that maltitol is deductible, than 4 cups are 1 net carb.

Serving size- 4 pieces
Calories- 200
Total Fat- 13g
Total Carbohydrate- 17g
Dietary Fiber- 2g
Malititol- 14g
Protein- 5g

Hope that helps.

I heard they came out with a low carb version of their chocolates, too. Does anyone know anything about this?

Hershey is supposed to be coming out with some sugar free chocolates later this year. Wonder if those will have lots of maltitol too?

I've heard the Hershey's stuff is sweetened with lacitol. I'd love to hear more about the RS SF or low carb candy. Does anyone have any adverse reactions to it? Blood sugar rises? Sugar cravings? Digestion problems?

I think people have experienced ALL of those things with sugar alcohols. It's a YMMV (your mileage may vary) thing. Check out the quick link (should be to your right) labeled "The truth about low carb sweeteners info"

Check out my awesome haikus in this recent thread: Maltitol

Cheers!

P.S. I just discovered that ricotta cheese and cream with splenda and unsweetened cocoa tastes like chocolate mousse!
