Default What?!?!?

Have I been completely asleep or zoned out during the last nine months?? I thought eggs counted as a protien..therefore no carbs. I just read a post that said to count the egg carbs in a recipe...do eggs really have carbs???
Someone please clarify!!
Thanx!

Each large egg has slightly less than one gram of carb. Don't worry, it's not much. But if you had a recipe that called for alot of eggs, you might want to figure the carbs per serving that the eggs provide.

If you use fitday.com, you can get the exact makeup of each food. I love using it!

Hi Bebe,

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but yes, eggs do have carbs.

One extra large egg has about 0.7 carbs. But I think it's only worth worrying over if you eat many eggs daily.

Arrow OH!

I had not idea, but I guess that's okay since I don't sit around eating dozens of eggs daily. At least they don't have too many carbs. I'm just very suprised. But thank you all the information and enlightening me!!!!

by the way...if anyone can think of any foods that seem like they don't have carbs, but do.....I would love to know....I'm usually pretty informed..guess NOT!!!

Thanx again....
