Question Hummmmmmmmmmmmmmus.......

Hi!
I had a question...once you move past induction, can you have hummus with your veggies? There is no sugar added. I love that stuff! Thanks!------------Angie

Hi Angie,

How much of it are you likely to use?

According to Fitday, 1 cup has 49.62 carbs, of which 12.55 are fibre.

HTH

Question WOW!!!

Wow!
I had not figured that part out yet! It seems like it should not be that high. All it is are mainly beans, oil and spices. The hummus I have has no sugar. I guess I should go to fit day first before I endulge! Thanks Rosebud.

I eat hummus! It has about 4 carbs per two tablespoons. A cup of it would be HUGE! I either plop a little on top of salad or if I am having a day where I just kind of graze all day long-I will have it on celery or something.

Just make sure you only eat the serving size!

The nutrional information from the Casbah Hummus mix in my cupboard:

Serving size: 2 tbsp
Calories per serving: 70

Fat: 2g
Sat fat: 0
Cholesterol: 0
Sodium: 220mg
Total Carbohydrate: 10g
Dietary Fiber: 2g
Sugars: 0g
Protein: 2g

As to whether or not to have it in OWL? Definitely a personal call, I think.

Hope that helps a little.
