Default Bars and Shakes ?

Are the bars and shakes bad for induction? I noticed that in the first 5 days of induction I lost 4.5 pounds. I'm now on my 12 day and I've only lost another 1/2 a pound. Could it be from the bars and shakes even though I keep my carb count under or right at 20 a day? Thanks, Jzruns

Hi Jzruns! Congrats on your 4.5 lbs lost.

I heard on this forum somewhere that alot of people experience stalls when they use the bars and shakes even though their carb count is kept under control. I just started too and thats why I decided not to use them.

Just stop and see if your weight loss resumes but give it some time.

Good luck.

some have said those bars have made them quit losing for a few days, I've only eaten 1 Atkins bar....maybe they effect people differently.

I think it's a good idea not to rely on the bars and shakes to be a regular part of your diet. I have a good supply of the bars and shakes but only use them as a "on the go" food, for those days where in the past I would end up at McDonalds
