Wink All those on low carbs' Raise your hand!

Hi !
Just wanted to take the time to introduce myself. My name is Bess and I live in Dayton, Ohio. This is the first time I have ever been on a low carb (Atkins) program. 11 days in and surviving !
I would definitely be interested in trying to establish not only a support group locally but would love to find a couple work out buddies... I know that I am in definite need of continual movtivation and support and I am sure there are others who feel like that as well not only in my area/hometown but all over.
Can anyone give me some tips on the best way to try to hook up with others in my area to get something like this started????
In the meantime this forum is great and I am so grateful that another one of your members introduced me to this site ...thanks AmaniNura you have been so incredibly positive and uplifting and I cant wait to meet others through this site as I am sure you all will be equally understanding and motivational. Hopefully I will get the opportunity to return the same!
Thanks again!

Default Hi there!

From the main page you will see a section for regions, you could go to the US one and send a similar post?
I have a buddy in here from Ohio, maybe she'll read your post and answer ya! I'll let her know!
Good luck
Tammy

Smile You CAN do it...

Welcome to the forum!

We’re glad you found us and welcome your participation.

For me, participation in the forum is an essential component in my LC WOE. I find the kind of information, support and community here that I need to reach my weight loss and better health goals. I hope you will too.

I’d also like to invite you to stop by the Triple Digits Club, for people with 100+ lbs to lose. While you may or may not need to lose as much as others there, you’ll find the threads full of inspiration. We hold back nothing.

Good luck on your LC journey!

Donald
