This headline was flashed on CNN today....Study finds 6 months of LC/High Protein diet can lead to more weight loss than low fat diets; no evidence of cardiovascular problems found...

The Reuters' report of this study was posted in the Research forum yesterday. If folks are interested, they can check it out, along with the ongoing discussion.

Low-carb diet deemed safe over short term.

I'll keep an eye on the CNN page though ... trying to follow up on links to the original study, and not having much luck!
